About

The Pleyel Quartet brings together some of Scotland’s finest professional musicians.

We are all classically trained to the highest standard. We also each have over 20 years of experience in performing, having appeared in concert halls as far afield as Russia and the United States, as well as closer to home in the UK and throughout Europe.

With varied musical interests (ranging from Baroque and early Classical music, through to jazz and Scottish folk music) we play an extensive repertoire –everything from Bach to Bacharach!

As well as our work as performers, we are also well-known as composers and arrangers of music, as academics, and are sought after as teachers of our instruments.
